Hey everyone I recently purchased a silver 03 2.7T and love it. However i decided to tint my windows and the shop did a great job except they were too dark for my taste. And then i found the problem.

THE AUTOMATIC REAR SUNSHADE WILL NOT RISE. It make a clicking sound and nothing happens. the shop said they did not try to remove the rear panels but the shade does not go up. Has anyone ever experienced this problem and can assist me in trouble shooting the problem.

I chacked and there is no water on the motor for the shade all it does is click. If you can help please, Thanks

Most likely motor/transmission assy. Does it have power and ground? If so, replace.

clicking seems like an overloading motor to me ?

One day it didn't work, I kept trying it, and a week later it went up. No problem since.

What do you mean by overloading? I hear a click sound from the sunshade when i press the button and counted 8 seconds and hear another click. I was wondering if it was off the track or something.
