Damn I love my Toyo T1R tires...
Got them for my 2005 Cadillac CTS-V (255/45/18)... I'm going to get some for my A6 4.2 (255/40/17).
Granted they're brand new, I put a good 100 miles on them today. No TRAMLINING! quiet! Great response. Great turn in... the grip is fantastic! There's this large sweeping freeway onramp near my area and wow... the difference from my stock tires on my V is amazing. (stock tires are Goodyear F1 Supercar EMT - grippy as hell when warm.. ****ty in wet..road noise galore... stiff sidewall)
I was deciding between the
Goodyear F1 GSD3
BFGoodrich KDW2
Michelin PS2
Bridgestone S03
Toyo T1s or T1R...
and based on availability it came down to the T1R and I couldn't be happier (so far). I look forward to the next thousands of miles. =)
I love the meaty tread too... very very nice!

Re: Just got some TOYO FZ myself
<center><img src="http://www.toyo.com/tires/tire_lines/popups/jpgs/fz4.jpg"></center><p>SOO much quieter than my YOKI ES100 which were soo noisy and rough. New TOYO FZs have 300 threadware and A rating. Highly recommeded.

HIJACK: See where Cadillac's going to market a version of teh CTS with just teh LOOKS of your car?
<b> <font color="red"> "It only </font> LOOKS <font color="red"> fast." </font> </b>
<img src="http://www.cadillactristate.com/assets/1342_ctsv_287x185.jpg">
No V-8, no big brakes, no 6-speed manual, no whatevAr else. Still will have teh mesh grill, body stuff but with a new "CTS-Sport" moniker. Cheaper on teh sticker, of course.
Anyone really think Cadillac is a "new Cadillac?"
This was reported in 12 August edition of Teh Chicago Tribune, Jim Mateja's column, quoting:
"Caddy will add a new CTS Sport model, a sedan with <b> <font color="red"> teh performance look of teh CTS-V </font> </b> introduced for 2004, but without the 5.7-liter V-8 and 6-speed manual. It will offer a more sedate 2.8-liter or 3.6-liter V-6 and 5-speed manual or automatic.
Teh CTS Sport will have body-color grille, 18-inch wheels, a ground-effects package and sports-tuned suspension.
It will be priced at $30,515 to $33,160--not the $50,675 of the CTS-V."<ul><li><a href="http://www.edmunds.com/news/autoshows/articles/100691/page010.html">Concept (w/photos) from 2003 Edmunds article.</a></li></ul>
