Toyo Proxes 4 dissappointed
Switched from Michelin XGTZ-4 235/45/17 to Toyo Proxes 4 because of high cost of new replacement Pilot A/S Michelin. Found Toyos very noisey over 50mph and have had two side wall ruptures in 4000 miles from going over one pot hole and another time from driving over a small rock in my driveway. Have been driving 30yrs and never had this happen with any Michelin tire or any other tire for that matter.
Seemed fine in snow and cheap but no other redeeming factor in my mind.

I'm on my second set of Falken Ziex 512's
V rated..I've tracked them, day to day, winter, rain and snow.. they are all season rated.. but a great High performance tire. At 225-55-17 (allroad) they are only $95.00 from Vulcantires.com I've gotten way over 30K miles from the first set.
