Windshield Washer Resevoir Leaking

Windshield Washer Resevoir Leaking
I have a leak in my windshield washer reservoir, significant enough that it "runs" out, not just leaks out over time. I have an extended warranty I purchsed when I bought the car (I bought the car used), but I have $100 deductible and would like to fix it on my own if it isn't too difficult. It appears that something has "come out" instead of their being a crack or something.
I found a yellow plug laying in the engine compartment in that area that I'm thinking could possibly have come out. If that isn't the culprit, does anyone have any ideas? I recently had the dealer replace the catalytic converter....could they have done something in this area to have caused this?
Any ideas? If you know where to find detailed instructions for performing the maintenance, please advise.
Thanks.

Most likely a cracked headlight washer pump.
You can get one from the dealer and replace it on your own. Here's a link to the FAQ about it:

https://www.audiworld.com/tech/misc28.shtml</a

Very easy repair...
I did this on a friend's car in freezing temps outside in the dark. The tech article is for an S4, but the same steps apply to the A6 as well.
If you pull the driver's side fender liner out, you should be able to see the windshield washer tank (probably still about 1/3 full) and the headlamp washer pump is affixed to the side of the reservoir.
The original part number was 3B7 955 681, but it has been reaplced with a more curent part number at your Audi Dealer. Should only be about $30.

I have a used washer if you'd like it... [edit]
...I know the dealer charges ~$70 for a new one. Drop me an email or post here if interested.
[EDIT] Sorry, I read that as headlight washer (not the pump). Welp, either way, I have a washer if anyone needs one.

Dont forget the grommet
