Thanks BD but "...I won't rehash the whole procedure" I need the rehash!!
I'm not ready but I'm plotting to get to it- I'd like to find a description of the WHOLE procedure- even the obvious parts...for a 2003 A6. I have done some FAS (forum archive search) but the most basic parts of the procedure seem to be assumed- Am I missing something?

Once you click through to this thread, scroll down a bit to nene's link to removing the lights from the car - one of the most thorough descriptions I've seen.
Note that the bulbs listed are not correct for the A6s. The A6 takes an 1157 bulb - Josh at Achtuning posted today that he has 5 sets in stock.
