Default Navigation plus or RNS E?

Is it possible to install RNS E navigation to 2000 A6 2.7T? or should I go for navigation plus?
What is the major problem when I install RNS E?

I do not think anyone has solved the issues with the RNS E Nav in the US, go with the Nav+

Before you make your 3rd post...you should search the forum. RNS E is mentioned twice a week.

Default Yes. You can get the US RNS-E for a new Allroad for $3k or so.

No problems then about the Nav working like with the Euro units that are floating around.

The older CD based Nav + systems are almost "plug and play", but don't have all the cool features that the new DVD Nav systems have, like MP3 integration, bigger screen, etc.

I called NavPlus in Rhode Island and they seem to have the DVD-based units dialed. At $3K+, they're too expensive, but indeed they seem to have them totally sorted out so if you want to spend the money you can certainly do this.

Thought somebody here had. He bragged about CD, Sat and Phatnoise all working, too?
