Nav+ in A6: Detailed Installation Photos/Instructions

Folks,
I've found a website in the UK for everything VW/Audi Nav related. Many of you have been asking me to post my pictures somewhere else as my current AudiWorld pictureposter is "maxed out".
This is the basic process to install a GPS, Nav+ head unit and TMC/CAN gateway in any C5 A6/S6/RS6/allroad.
Here ya go - enjoy!

...closer to $1500 for Nav+ HU, TMC/CAN and mapdiscs.
..if/when you want to add DVD etc...expect to spend $200 for the A/V interface....and then $200+ for the DVD/CD/MP3 player.
...as always...you know where to find me...if you have any questions.

Would be interesting to install...question
Excellent write-up...thanks.
I have a 2002 A6 with factory navigation. What steps can be skipped from this procedure...are some of the wires likely to be there or is most of this the same except for the roof antenna.

Exact same install....
The only thing that could be used would be the GPS antenna. However, you'd have to have a custom cable made to connect your existing GPS antenna to the Nav+. When I priced it out...it was $50+. A new GPS antenna can be purchased for $40...and mounted in the dash...thus saving lots 'o time...and $$.
Hope this helps.
