Default 366 days + 15736 miles + RS6=

One happy owner!

Can't believe I've had the car for one year now! I could not imagine a better daily driver. It's the ultimate wolf in sheeps clothing car.

Every day the car manages to put a grin on my face. The S4 and S6 couldn't do this.

I've only suffered only 1 onstar red light ( seemingly a common problem on the RS6 ) and minor rattles ( drives me nuts ) have been the only problems I've had since delivery. I'm doing services at 5K and the car has been dead solid perfect in the powertrain department. I haven't even topped off the oil yet.

I've been thrilled with the gas mileage ( or as much as one can with a V8! ) it has better range than my S6 did! It's happy toting around kids and tooling around in the city, but it really shines once you get above 80!

If you asked me if I would do it all over again the answer would be an unqualified YES! It's all that I had imagined. Civil enough to tool around in, monster enough to have some fun with.

If you ever have the chance to get one, by all means do so!

This car will be in my garage for a long time! It's a keeper! (I can't say that there is anything out there that really tempts me outside of the new CLS )

Default That lower grille silver adds so much to the post 2000 A6s. I guess I'll have to resign myself to..

the cheapo Pep Boys approach since nothing else seems to be available?

Pray tell! Upon closer inspection, is that a MY2000 (washer covers) with Pep Boys mod?

Default Okay, maybe I'll buy it from you when you are done with it?

After moding a car myself, I would love to buy one from somebody like you or me or countless others who did mods or took care of their car.

And you have been servicing the tranny or planning on it, I want your car!

It's funny, it's now the norm to service the tranny because of these forums.

If you ever see me on the road, please just play with me so I can pretend I have a high powered car! ;-)

Congrats!

Default If I'm in your neck of the woods with the car you're on.

Actually I have been considering the transmission service. Thanks to your posts!

There is a *major* service on the RS6 at 35K which is where I was considering doing a transmission service at since I think they'll end up keeping the car a day or so ( the timing belt drive get's replaced then )
