saw a bunch of new Audis testing today (A6, A4, A3 +) Pics

First post here, (I'm a Subaru guy, but an Audi appreciator). Rode up to the top of Mt. Wilson in Pasadena (Los Angeles) today and lo-and-behold, Audi was testing the radios on a bunch of upcoming models. They had a handfull of A3s, A4s, and A6s with the new grille parked up by the radio towers and were testing how well they worked with all the interference up there. They had laptops hooked up to all the cars. Everyone had a German accent that I heard. they didn't seem bothered by us (we were on bikes) so I snapped a few pics with my tiny camera before they noticed. As soon as they saw me taking pictures a few in the A6 got in and drove off. We left also, but we came back up on another loop and it was back, so it seemed obvious they were avoiding us. One engineer was nice enough to chat a bit, but asked that we didn't take pictures of the A6. So I didn't take any more than I had already taken : ) They had the engine type emblem masked off on the A6 avant, and the intereor was very unfinished with exposed wires dangling about.
What was also interesting is that they were testing the radio on a Lexus LS430. Apparently they check up on the competition also. They also had a Hummer H2 in the group, which seemed to me a strage befellow for a stable of Audis.
Out of all the cars, the A3 was the best looking by far. That's a snappy little ride. In my opinion it'll sell like hotcackes. I've seen a few of them running around in Los Angeles also, where I also saw the new A8 running around about six months before it was released.
Don't love the new gaping grille on the Audis by the way. Very large and demands so much attention. Sorta eclipses the rest of the design. The A4 up there today only had the current grille. The new A6 Avant is pretty blaise to me, sorta like blanched cauliflower: Don't know what to make of it.
Here's all the pictures I took:

Re: saw a bunch of new Audis testing today (A6, A4, A3 +) Pics
just realized I may have posted this in the wrong forum. I didn't see the newer generation forum until it was too late. Whoops. Sorry.

New "front porch door" grill is nasty on a light colored car. US license plate holder makes...
.. it look awful. Hopefully there will be a "refresh" done in a year or two.
Other than the grill, the base A6 seems pretty unremarkable. Avant looks massive (long).
