Default Check engine light on, DTC code 17831

I checked out the vacuum hoses as mentioned in a previous post, very informative but my vac hoses checked out ok. I reset the code and the same code came back about 500 miles later. I purchased it pre-owned in May, it now has 54000 miles on it. It was at my Audi dealer last week for the recall and oil change. Any other suggestions for this "secondary air infjection system bank 1 too low" problem??? I'm new to the world of Audi.

Default I have the same car & had exact same problem....

If the vacuum hoses are the original ones, you need to replace all of them at one time. Even though they may look ok, they have a tendency of dry rotting & cracking underneath the cloth sleeve and you will never know it. After replacing every vacuum hose I could find, the problem went away and did not come back.
