Default I searched (really did). Replacing the cup holder by the parking brake: How to remove the old one?
The search engine must be messed up, I tried everything and can't find it. I typed "cup" and only got 2 hits.

Anyway, I finally got the part and now I can't get the old one out. Anybody done this before? What is the secret? I'm going nuts. TIA.

Default Here it is -->
with the thing partly open you can see two tabs down on the sides toward the front of the car. Push in on these and the whole assembly slides up.

Need to search under "cupholder"
