NAV + install complete!. (long)
Here are some pics of my recent Euro NAV + install, integrated with a hands free Motorola V60, (phone through the Bose speakers) and Pioneer XM unit. I gotta tell you that this is one of the most satisfying comfort /convenience mods that you can do for your ride. It definitely takes your A6 to a new level, and bumps the toy "coolness factor" by 10X!.
The whole setup

The screen in "daytime mode". Headlights off.

The radio screen

The "compass" screen

One of the best features is integration with the center info display. (you must use a TMC/CAN gateway to accomplish this).

It includes all of the features of the Audi US NAV system. But, when the NAV + is put into Map/Compass mode, the center DIS will display the street that you are traveling on without having to program a destination!. A very sweet feature.

My apologies for the long post, But, I've got to thank TeddybGame for his assistance on the install. Ted, your are a NAV + Stud!. Also, honorable mention to Martyn at VagParts www.vagparts.com , JonL of Minneapolis, and Dan @ http://www.tvwiz.net/navigation/index.html . Check out his site if your interested in attempting this mod.

This was before I put the final trim piece in around the unit. But having the hands free phone installed and that it mutes the Nav system is great.
Drove to Mid Ohio which is about 375 miles from Chicago this weekend and didn't have to break out a map, the nice British lady in the Nav system told me how to get there!
I have a C system, wish I could get the compass to come up!
Sweet install!!!
