    Rules of turbo ownership!
    1. Let them warm up until the oil temp gets to 175 degrees (at least). 2. Likewise, after a "spirited" run, let them cool off for a couple of minutes before you shut off the engine. 3. Use full synthetic engine oil - 0-40 is best!
    These rules apply regardless of the ambient temperature. A little caution should mean longer turbo life.

    To clarify, this doesn't mean you have to sit in your driveway for 5 minutes and let it warm up or cool down, it means you should use common sense and take it easy when you start/finish your trip.
