Default LED Exterior Lights Installed

Here are some photos of the LED lights installed in all exterior signal lights (brake lights, running lights, turn signals).

In the first two pics, the brake and tail lights are replacement LEDs, the Fog light and 3rd brake light bulbs are OEM (I didn't replace these).

The LED's aren't quite as bright as the OEM as they don't take full advantage of the reflector design, but they're much better (with the 100 degree LED's) than the old style 30 degree LED's. It is a huge improvement, and they are sufficiently bright.

AGAIN - note that the rear FOG and 3rd brake light are the OEM LIGHTS, so use those for 'comparison' purposes.

Sorry no sunshine photos yet.

Default the new cars that use LED... are pressure sensitive.. the harder you brake, the brighter they shine.

plus they light up a lot faster... i think they look great... and yes they would blink faster in a sense that the timing would be the same but the lights shine quicker..

Default Im talking about the headlights. When you indicate a turn, do they blink super fast?

Thanks.

Default in a sense .. sure.. just like my previous explanation...

the timing for the blinker itself is no different from non-LED lights...but it's considerably brighter and quicker to shine... if you can you should get some for your already PHAT RIDE!! drooooooooooool

Do you have to have load resistors to keep them from blinking rediculously fast

Default Oh never mind. You've never suffered the quick blinker effect I see.

It stinks. Thanks for the complements. I'm due for some new pics of the grille soon. Hmmm.....

Default I take your comment at face value, but it seems odd since light output from an LED is not very

sensitive to changes in current.

Yes, definitely. Also you need resistors to keep the 'auto check' system happy (light out warning).
