I cannot see anything wrong with the sway bar installation. Anyone? (1MB of pics, BWW)
So I couldn't wait to take a look, and it appears to me that everything is okay. There even appears to be grease-aplenty at both bushings. I'll give them a shot tomorrow anyway just in case. All bolts appear tightened and I see no wear areas where something might be rubbing. Perhaps I wasn't guarded enough in my comments regarding DSR as it looks like everything is installed according to spec...and other than going for a drive and trying to troubleshoot, I don't know what else they might have done.
Any other ideas on what might be causing the rattly, clickity sound coming from the left rear suspension area when the car hits small sharp (relatively) road irregularities? It isn't an intermittent sound; it happens 100% of the time.
Thanks again to everyone for chiming in on my earlier posts, this board is a good place.

What is your mileage?
See my thread on "one more thing about my suspension" I forgot to mention that every time I go to the dealer and I go a lot, there is a stock pile of suspension links that have just been changed. One thing I must say, I live in Canada, drive in salt in the winter so, dont be surprise to find that it will probably be a worn joint somewhere and there are many and they will all go if they start to go!

do you hear it, or feel it
if you hear it, try taking EVERYTHING out of the trunk in abck, including the side panels..I mean stip it clean. Take the spare out, the carpet, eveything.
then have someone drive the car with you back there
- really fast around corners so you roll around...kidding, but since you have an avant - yyopu can be right over the suspension
no really - make sure that something isn;t rattling back there before you do any more digging

Only hear it. I'll do that tomorrow. Just driving down the center of a lane hitting the lane divider
dots makes the sound, so it should be easy to test.
It really does sound more mechanical than like a rattle from something banging around, but I'll certainly give it a shot to isolate that it's not a simple rattle from all of the spare coins back there that I've been saving for that A8...

THAT sounds like what it could be. Time to pull the wheels too, I think.
I did take the caps off and check all of the lugs to make sure that none are just banging around in there.
