I was only doing 25mph, but it was a big deer.
Hood, right head light, right fender, grill, front bumper.....not sure what else.
My wife wonders why I hate deer??? Not only the ticks, but this is the second time I have hit a deer with under 1k on the clock. Last time it was in my 99 540iT, I had 750 miles on the clock.
This is minor damage on the loaner, but I feel bad about damaging a new car.
RANT OFF
Guess I am being punished by the 3.0 gods for my post..........

Oh my gosh, makes me nervous now to get my loaner on Tuesday. Bummer, REV.
My aunt hit one in her Yukon XL this summer. Damage to headlight and plastic bits on front end - no sheet metal. With no grille, it could have been a chevy, GMC or Caddy. Someone asked me why the grille was off. I replied it was so my uncle could change it over to an Escalade. Tell 'em that 3.0 really just wants to be a 4.2. Good luck.

Watch out about "loss of use"... check your coverage and push to get it fixed quick!
If you aren't fully covered, as you would be if you took the overpriced rental insurance, then you may be liable for the "loss of use" and in essence have to rent the car for each day until it is back in service.

If they pull that crap on you, demand a fleet utilization log that substantiates the fact that the inactive car actually represents a loss of revenue. We had this become an issue with a rental car that was rear ended at a stop sign. The rear-ender acknowledged fault but his insurance company would not cover the so-called "loss of use" because this log was not produced. The rental company came after us on this issue and we, after discussing with our insurance companies, told them to go to hell. Six months of their threatening letters with our appropriate responses resulted in the issue being dropped.
