H&R does not make a spring for the 4.2, well, not differentiated from the 2.7t springs
Eibach does have a spring with a different spring weight specifically for the 4.2. Now that Gecko V8's tribulations have been resolved, the Eibachs look like a perfect ride height - lower to ground, not throught the ground.

When I purchased the Eibachs, they were Avant springs (not a mistake the part# was for my car). The rear of my car actually raised. I hope they have made a specific part for the 4.2's now. I was pissed that my car got tall in the rear. I'm sure they have fixed the problem, but will go to coilover's next.
