Word of caution to those of you who change your own wiper blades. Be careful when you have the wiper arm raised with the blade removed. Mine slapped back down into position by itself (tight spring?) and the exposed metal that hold the blade in place hit about two inches from the bottom of the windshield. Just like that my windshield is history. I've owned about 15 cars and not once have I had a broken windshield for any reason.
Any suggestions or warnings about getting a replacement?

Make sure the guys who do the job place the rear view mirror in the same place as before.
They did't on my dad's previous C4 A6. It was much lower, and very irritating.

In warranty, use Audi. Out of warranty, I'd price shop. $238 sounds cheap...
... just make sure it is sealed properly and work is warranted. ;^)
Don't feel bad... I broke my windshield trying to fix a 1/4" crack. Instructions said "push from the inside... but not too hard." I found what "too hard" meant.
The good side: the new windshield (Audi, under warranty) was free of distortion and free of the awful pitting my first windshield had after 30k miles.
