I was a the dealer today and found out that the headlights were changed mid year 2000, and that the 98-99 lights are compatible with the 2000-2001 lights. The 2000-2001 lights are nicer looking, but it is not that obvious. They were changed again in 2002, but these are not compatible with the earlier one. I would post pics, but did not have my camera when I was at the dealer. Check it out for yourself next time a 98-99 is next to a 00-01 (although the first 10,000 or so 2000's also had the earlier headlights).<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/a6/msgs/267223.phtml">click for previous post</a></li></ul>
