What were they thinking?
Just got my A6 back home from 48k service - horrified to find black greasy fingerprints on the light grey windshield pillar fabric. Both sides! Like, "uh, maybe he won't notice". Sheesh! Got it out with some light Castrol SuperClean application. Hopefully won't water-stain. Bad comment card on the way. Oh well, thanks for letting me whine about it...

Same thing happened with mine @ McGrath in Chicago (more)
Every time I took the car in it came back with something wrong. I now use The Exchange in Highland Park for service. HUGE improvement.

All too familiar. Do we need to track this?
I've had the same problem with the [only] Audi dealer here in Springfield, IL. This is not an exaggeration: On every occassion I've taken my 99 2.8 in for repair/service, it's come back either dirtier (same greasy fingerprint problem - but on the pillars and headliner), or with a new problem that wasn't there before. I refuse to take my 02 2.7t there. I have taken both cars to Naperville Audi and Loeber Audi in the city. Customer care level at both locations is phenominal - without even making an appointment! Give them a try.
I have a good friend that used to do market research for Volkswagen; he maintains contact with some of the operations guys at AoA. He's offered to get me contact info for the people that could actually change dealer attitudes. I'm going to take him up on it.
Is there a good dealer/bad dealer listing somewhere in the forum? Probably something worth starting if there isn't.
