Default My Prediction of the New A6 (Part 2)

<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/22060/a6_b_v01.jpg">

Thought I'd take another stab at predicting the next A6. It's a fairly straightforward sketch based on Audi's current design directions.

Default Nice work. REALLY well drawn. And "accurate" in my view, except for...

...the "size" of the front grills. Both upper and lower seem somewhat more prominent (but not THAT much) than I'd expect. Truth is probably halfway between the new A3 and your sketches.

All that said, you are a HELLUVA(n) artist!!

Default By far the best sketch yet!

Probably (and hopefully) the closest thing to the "actual" new A6 so far, when cpmpared to all other sketches and PS pics. I would say that the "actual" new A6 will have a roof line a bit higher than that for sufficient headroom. Plus, larger exterior rearview mirrors (just like the ones on the new A8) for better visibility and wind resistance. BTW, was that done by hand with a pen or pencil or on the computer?

Default what happened to the fender in front of the wheel arch on the first pic?

love the bottom rendition. looks slick. I would jump at that in a heartbeak.

the top one scares me a bit because of the front lights, they're almost on the side of the car!! (i think if you brought that same proportion of the fender front of the wheel in pic # 2 it would cure that dilemma)

you do some really nice work.

I like the 3/4 shot... that front end would look really mean.

Default Nice - but I think there is too much overhang. Need to move the wheels out 5" in front and 3"

at the back. I think Audi will try to give us a longer wheelbase and less dynamick with a better balanced car. Still, I like you effort, very nice.
