Default RS6 bumper conversion

Hi, I have benefitted from all of the excellent posts on Audiworld, and I would like to contribute to this forum, and share my RS6 bumper conversion for my 2000 A6 4.2. I purchased the complete kit from Josh at Achtuning, and as mentioned here many times, Josh and Ben at Achtuning deserve praise. Their efforts put together a very complete kit. I was able to receive one of the first kits and as the pictures show, I spent a lot of time on the A6 bumper reinforcement modifications. Also the fog lights included in the kit were not correct, but Josh has researched this and the correct fog lights are on the way, and future kits will probably include the RS6 bumper reinforcement as well. The RS6 bumper cover also has the holes for the front Parktronic sensors, which I filled prior to painting. Otherwise the removal and installation was surprisingly easy to do (I did it myself with help from the Bentley to remove the A6 bumper). I think the pictures look good, but I spend more time detouring into the garage, and stare at how much better my "A6" looks now.

http://photos.yahoo.com/asapmike@prodigy.net</a

Default FAQ on Using the AW Picture Poster

asapmike- all of those pictures qualify for Audi related contetnt (duh) and would definitely be a beneficial resource for this forum

perhaps you should think of writing a tech article (like one of these) on your installation- very good job!

welcome to the 'World.

again, lookin nice.

Using the Picture Poster
