Default whaddya mean?

its an option, came with the car. If you want to add it to your car, you would use the PSK option parts: PSK springs, PSK shox, PSK sway bar, and any necessary bushings, etc.

The results would be the same as a 4.2 that came with the PSK package to begin with.

I dont know if I am getting the gist of your question? What parts? What tools?

Default I've seen good comments about the H&R Coilovers...

...but the H&R springs are too low for most of us; they work better on the 2.7T.

As for which H&R coilover to use, there are many part numbers, some of which seem only available in Europe. But they are adjustable, so perhaps that has helped?

I'm hoping someone will clarify, or better yet, provide the right part number and a supplier (sending me the money too would also be nice). ;^)

Some messages are here (this thread may be added eventually):

http://www.netwiz.net/~jds/files/a6_links.html#suspension</a

Default Yes, but the lowering aspect was minimal. I did it to stiffen up the suspension for my occasional

track events. I went with eibach pro kit and koni sport shocks. Tighter feel, more resistance in the corners.Weight transfer from side to side seems more precise and predictable. Definitely took some of the float out of the ride. Every day street use has not suffered other than you feel the bigger bumps more.
I think I'm down about a 1/2" front and 1/4" rear.

Default Which springs are these, exactly? And, do they work with stock shocks?

I've heard various things about Eibachs and other springs, but not often specific for the 4.2, and rarely specific part numbers. And my recollection is a bit poor.
