The extra rotor material and unique venting makes them more stable under high heat applications, which will reduce the tendency to warp.
For front of 2.7T and 4.2 A6.<ul><li><a href="http://www.awe-tuning.com/pages/shared/part_detail.cfm?PMaI=1&PMoI=28&PEI=6&P P=a6_27t_brakes.cfm&PPT=Brakes&IL=s4dba">D BA from AWE Tuning</a></li></ul>

Nice! Hey Todd, what do you think about these with Mintex Reds up front andstock rotors in the back
also with Mintex Reds for the occasional track day? The main questions are:
Will I get by with the Mintex Reds or do I need a dedicated track pad? I don't mind swapping pads occasionally.
Should I upgrade the rear rotors too? Although I guess I could just see if I warp them and then go from there.
You guys should definitely put together a 4 wheel DBA rotor replacement though. I would certainly be interested, especially if there was a price break for buying all four : )

Rear rotors will stand up to even the harshest driving event abuse,
so no real worry there.
The Mintex pads are not for aggressive track divers, but will fit the bill for beginners. Check out the Pagid R4 or R4E pads for dedicated track usage for the 2.7T calipers. It is worth swapping between pads if you are an aggressive track driver.
We're working on the rear slotted rotors as we speak...
