Default A6 oil leaks

FYI:

Last year I had my '99 A6 (2.8q) in the dealer for multiple oil leaks. When it was all said and done I had the following replaced:

Both cam adjuster seals
Four cams seals
Both valve cover gaskets

The last item (passenger side cam adjuster seal) to make it leak free was done on January 30, 2002.

I just heard back from the dealer. The passenger side cam adjuster seal and valve cover gasket are leaking again. The oil pan seal is also leaking. All are getting replaced on December 30, 2002 (EXACTLY 11 months later).

Two of those seals lasted ~10 months and 20k miles. I only use Mobil 1.

That is all.

P.S. Thank the Audi Gods for Audi Assured!!

Ludicrous! Small consolation that you're not paying for the repairs, but what about the deductible?

11 months later? Doesn't dealer warrant the work for a year? (Or perhaps just parts)

Only two of the parts would be covered. The oil pan leak is new so I'm paying $53 either way!!

Default Re: 4 oil leaks for me should I be getting a replacement.

I'm on my 4th set of leaks in the past 2 years. It started within the first 10 months and has not stopped leaking, despite 3 multiday trips to the dealer. I'm considering lemon law path, any advice. I have 2000 A6 2.7.
