Ed and others are buidling a similiar system which integrates into a V1 unit, and somewhere down the road with smartire systems.

Interesting history and they need to be secretive about the project becuase the company you linked to above started to add features they spoke about on the forum 'overnight'.

If they get it to work it will be a pretty cool setup.
