Audi Molded Console - with Siemens S46 cell phone installed.
I bought the Molded Console cell phone bracket today from my dealer parts department. It cost me $90.85 (before sales tax) and I installed it myself in 10 minutes. The part number is 4B1-051-601-A-1EJ (for a 2001 A6). You'll need to screw your cell phone mounting kit to the Audi console as well (mine was $29.99 from Siemens).
As far as I know there is no kit to integrate this phone with the Audi pre-installed hands-free equipment - the included ear bud from Siemens works very well and I plan to just use it. I do need to get an external antenna now.
Below is a closeup of my phone installed - Siemens S46 (AT&T Wireless). I browsed to Audi's WAP Site with my phone just for the shot.

Installation was very easy. Pull up the wood surround of the shifter plate by hand (quite a lot of force is required). Place the Molded Console in place and press down the wood surround of the shift plate on top. The clip to hold the bracket on goes up behind the console trim and the screw goes below the console into the clip (no drilling required).

From the driver's point of view...

From the passenger side footwell area...

A bit of a gap is unavoidable because of the thickness of the bracket crammed under the shifter surround.

... best of all, no drilling required to the car.
