Speaking for myself, when I get "hooked," there is something that resembles past occasions...
... so the response is more autobiographical than about the person or message that "triggered" the event. Of course, the person having the "flashback" anger isn't going to recognize or acknowledge this at the time.
Bottom line is to try to remember, when someone takes what you write too personally, don't take <i>their</i> anger at you personally.

I don't take much of anything personally especially not on AW...
although I have been fortunate enough to say that those people here that I have met in person, as I think you will agree, have been very genuine and really nice people...perhaps some of them have even been people I've had "run-ins" with here on AW...but I hold no ill-will toward anyone here as anything can be misinterpreted and I can't assume that it is understood the way I intended it...nor can I assume I understand him/her the way he/she intended any comments. That's one reason I hope you'll never see me make personal attacks against anyone...plus, it really doesn't matter...it's just cars and AudiWorld...nothing to get worked up over...I find "battles" with Steve entertaining...at least he has the ability to battle even if his points are crazy!
