Been over a week without the resonator now-->
I'm still very satisfied. The sound is just a touch louder than stock, and you can just barely hear the exhaust from inside the drivers seat. Standing behind the car with my wife revving up the engine, you can hear is very nicely. From 10-15ft behind the car, you can hear a slightly raspy sound, with a burble on the overrev. Sounds just about perfect, for those who like a quiet but audible exhaust.
There are definitely a few more horsies out playing in the pasture now. After the 2nd day (about 50 miles), I can notice this much more than before. The turbos seem to spool up faster now, and punching the throttle in any gear gives you a nice little *snap* as soon as the throttle is moved. Once above 3k the engine pulls hard and strong right up to the redline. It's much easier to bounce the engine off the rev limiter now than it ever was before.
The oil temp gauge now reads just a hair over 200. Previously, the gauge would settle at the 225 mark when fully warm, and just barely reach 250 when run hard. Now, even after prolonged driving, the oil temp never reaches over 225, even when run hard.
I will be changing the rest of the exhaust sytem, more than likely with Flowmasters and mini resonators, but for now I can live with this. The power increase may not be large, but it's large enough to make the cost worth it.

I'm in central NJ. Rahway to be exact.-->
I'm about 10 minutes from the Goethals bridge, and about 5 minutes from the Woodbridge Mall.

I have a question
I'm not a mechanic or engineer, so I may just not be smart enough to get the theory, but how can you possibly get more power by removing something from the exhaust that is a complete, unrestricted flow-through device like the reasonator? The only thing that I can think of that would help would be a slight reduction in weight by removing the resonator.

Re: I have a question
I have no idea. A guy has done some dyno testing and has shown that a catback was worth about 14 hp on a 2.7. His catback was custom made. He claims that the resonator was responsible for a large amount of the hp increase.
All I know is, you can feel a definite increase. That guy I ran with in his stock S4 was wondering what's up also.
