Un-chipping for a day......... What Codes to clear
Okay.... I have a GIAC tip and engine chip in my 2.7T (Love It). It's time to bring her in for her 30,000 mile service. I need to pop in my stock engine chip. I have a VAG tool, I am just wondering what codes I need to clear so they can't tell I put a different chip in this car. Also, do I need to do a throttle body tweak? Any insight is Greatly apprciated!!!! Thanks!!!

You need to do the following...
Once you have the stock ecu in you can just go in and clear all codes(just click on clear codes button). To get there just go to the engine module, fault codes, click on button.
There should only be one code that indicates a loss of power, which is what would let someone know ecus had been removed. There should be no other code.
Then you should do a throttle body adapt.
In the Engine module, click on Measuring Blocks
Insert under Group the numbers "060" and then click "switch to basic settings"
You should see numbers run up and down in the four spaces to the right of the group 060.
When the numbers stop, and it indicates ADP OK, your throttle adaptation is done
Let me know if you need more info
