Default Had Magnaflows put on ala FlyBry/2.7T Dallas style....

Some pics ....

Tips show slightly... Cost 307.22.. Mine are hidden so I didn't get the polished ones,(savings) and used just chrome tips (just slightly visible.

Sound: Somewhat LOUD. Resonates in cab a bit (will work that out later w/resonator). Floor it and it sounds like you are at the freakin' races. I love it. I do not recommend this for anyone who cannot appreciate how much faster your bicycle goes when you have a playing card clothespinned and sticking in to your spokes.

Second image makes things look off but car was parked on slope so drivers side higher than passenger side. It all looks even in person.

Default Funny story about how engine noise makes you feel.

Last night I was telling my 4 year old son about race cars and how noisy they are. He wants to go to next year's ALMS race in Wash. DC. I decided to boot up the NASCAR game on my computer and crank the volume as a demo for him. (I have a good system, w/ a woofer).

I ran a couple of "hot laps," and I gotta tell you, my appreciation for the game went way up. The sound made the game SO much more fun. Unfortunately, I tend to play after the kids are in bed, so I have to turn it down. Maybe headphones...

Do you have resonators still installed?

Default I am tempted; but sometimes I think it more impressive to go so faster without much sound effect

In stock form even if I floor the gas pedal I could barely hear the engine working hard and found the my passengers were so impressed on how quickly the car accelerates without breaking a sweat. Little do they know I was going all out.

don't get me wrong, I love a finely tuned exhaust music too but wish that I have them on only when I wanted to.

Thank for the input; at least I know if I was to do something with my exhaust either leave the stock resonator on or leave the resonator on and change the muffler.
Never would guess the 2.7 have the capabilities of making big sound.

Default The Miltek does a good job at this

THe exhaust was a big stretch for me. I like quiet. The miltek sound inside the car does have a deeper sound, no drone but it does sound a little deeper. My wife never even noticed the difference !!
Outside the car the sound is a quiet as stock. In fact were you to listen from the outside you couldnt tell the difference till you go full throttle , then you would say, "I cant really tell but it does seem to have a muscular sound to it". GIACuser, ChrisJB, drkangel, have seen and heard the Miltek, maybe they can add(or detract) from this.
I have the video of the Miltek exhaust on the car, I should have made one of a stock car too! So it could be compared side by side.
