Had Eibach springs installed - now ABS and ESP lights are on all time..
Switching the ESP has no affect on the light. Anybody have similar experience? solution? I did search the archives and I saw some general posts about damaged ABS sensors. Can anyone shed any light on what I should be looking for in the way of a damaged sensor? (Don't even know what I am looking for) Any idea why ESP is on? It all seems to be related to the install of the springs.
Thanks in advance.

The ESP light is on because the ABS system isn't working. ESP can't.....
...work w/o ABS.
You'll have to check and see if any wires in the area are broken or disconnected. Then you'll have to check the sensor themselves. They are usually located on the side of the wheel bearing housing sticking in towards the axel shaft (just behind the hub). Items #2 and #13...

Thanks to IqDOU and my VAG found and fixed in a few minutes.
Once I knew what I was looking for, thanks to IqDOU and his drawing, I put VAG to work and took a look at the ABS module. It had thrown a code and told me that it was the front left sensor. Got under the car and the sensor was part way out. Used the VAG to clear the code/ and to get the light to go off and all is ok now. Great reason to have a VAG tool on hand and again great reason to belong to the forum. Thanks all.
