Three photos related to install of StopTech front big brake kit: ST-40 Black Calipers, 332mm Slotted AeroRotors, and Stainless Lines front & rear. (This kit will fit under the stock S6 17x8 Avus rims.)

I'm using Motul high-temp brake fluid and the Axxis pads that came with the StopTech kit for the street. I have Pagid Race Orange pads I'll be switching out for track use only.

You'll luv em.
There is one issue with the Stoptechs. If you hear a clink when you engage it in D from park or Reverse your pads are shifting a tiny bit in the calipers. Same thing if going into "R" . didnt happen every time but they ended up prying the metal tab on the bottom inside of the caliper to hold the pad tighter. Works so far.
Even with the movement there was no brake performance loss.

Actually, that brings up a detailing question?
Didn't take a through-the-wheel shot yet, as the wheels have tar and rubber bits clinging to them from the track. I used a hard wax on the wheel before putting them, thinking that would make clean-up easier; but now when I think about it, anything I have around that would cut the tar and road grime would also cut the wax, so what was the point in waxing them? What does everyone else use?

Here's a through the wheel pic.
Aren't digital cameras cool? Instant gratification.
Note: These are 18" rims, so it may look like I could have gone bigger; but keep in mind I wanted them to fit under my winter rims and snow tires also.

I use a Kartcher pressure washer with some wheel cleaner. Evereything goes off easely.

Hmmm... so, do you do mobile detailing on the weekends? If so, I have a 4.2 that needs some work...that's if you'd like to drive out to Southern Cal. .... HA HA HA, j/k...
