Crazy, but it works . . .
I'm at a movie. Someone had smeared a squashed M&M on the back of the seat in front of me. All over the knee of my khaki's. I don't wanna walk around like this! In the car I take a Wet Ones pre-moistened towelette and rub. Like instant dry cleaning. The chocolate comes out, dries quickly, no stain! Fast forward . . .
How do you clean the headliner of an Ambiente/Ecru interior? Wife swats Vermont black fly. Black-fly residue. Wife smudges visor after applying make up, and rubs it in just to be sure. (LOL!) Now I had used soap and water to successfully clean a spot on the headliner before. Wife rubs each spot vigorously with Wet Ones towlette until spot/stain disappears. Spot dries, no stain. I'm a happy guy!
