What else have you done with the home link buttons on your visor.

Yes, the "lighting control kit". The vehicle link, home controller, and one lamp module is $59.95.

First off, thanks for the input on the Homelink option. I have one button that isn't being used and I'd like to set it up to turn on a few lights in the house. Here's my question:
1) Does that clunky thing with the AM/FM radio antenna (i.e. vehicle interface) have to remain in the car to operate the lights? Or is it merely required as part of the set-up/calibration process?
2) Can I set up two lamp modules on the same button (i.e. Homelink visor)? Basically, I have two garage doors being managed by the Homelink system and I don't want to forfeit any control over them in place of additonal interior lights.
