Quick report about 'feel' of the Miltek exhaust,
Have had the exhaust on for about a week. I have noticed an increase in power especially mid to high rpm's each gear. This is on a stock A6 2.7T. After riding in a friends chipped A6, then trying my car with the exhaust, it "felt" as if my car was "chipped" and was just a little less aggressives from the 310hp 330lb chip. The car feels freed up when merging or passing. Also recorded 24.8mpg on this last trip of 800 miles. Not too bad for a tip. That included some pretty steep grades along the way.
If someone wanted more power and did not want to go the extreme by chipping, this solution seems to be worthwhile. Plus the exhaust bolts right into where the stock exhaust did. Have asked dealers and they said they had no heartburn with this, since nothing is altered body wise and the cats are not touched.
Still working on the pics and sound file. Also still investigating the "thru the valance option". Bob & Pete@(Stratmosphere)along with Miltek seemed to have done a very good job.
