Will they fit?
Hello everyone i have a 2007 audi a6 2.0 tdi and have just been offered some really nice 18" mk2 audi TT wheels, can anyone tell me if they will fit my a6.
this is the information i have from the seller.
Stamped on back of wheel is as follows:-
8J0 601 025
T6
SPEEDLINE
S75 ITALY
SL2008
9Jx18H2 ET52

Although the lug pattern is the same (5x112), the issue in the wheels is the offset. These have an offset of 52mm whereby your car typically is a max of 45mm. You have to be wary of brake calipers or other componentry rubbing on the inside of the wheel.
What you can do is get spacers to counter the offset. So you could get a 15mm spacer and longer wheel nuts, then you would be at a 37mm offset which would look nice on your vehicle and not rub.
