Will a The 2009-2010 front bumper fit on a 06?
#21
Yep those will work. So the front bumper for a C6 manufactured after 2008 will be a direct swamp onto a 2005-2008 model. You will also need to update the following, when performing the bumper swap: new fogs, fog grilles, the fogs are now H11, and front bumper lip

Thank you very much, once it done will post it.

Well...
Everything I sourced from ebay US and ebay Germany. The bumper is an S-Line I found used. The fog light covers are new but were the hardest to find at the time. My original plan was to match a few things here and there with my OEM S8 wheels.
As hard as I tried and searched I could not find a shop that could reproduce the blend when I gave them the paint code. I wasn't about to buy a bunch of rattle cans of wheel touch up and have it shipped from Germany either.
The silver paint you see is Sherwin Williams Automotive color titled Sonic Silver. Of all the big time or popular/fancy pants paint companies out there that particular silver really popped the most in bright sunlight. I've got enough paint to have the wheels repainted once I pull them off this fall also. The RS grill is an aftermarket in all black. I couldn't see myself blowing 700 or more on an original then painting it to look similar to an RS5 grill so I chose the Chinese knock off. There are two versions out there. One that just has the honeycomb look and another that is an exact replica. So keep that in mind if you go that route. Also the exact replica version can be pulled apart. The outer frame will separate with a little work and the right tools.
You cant tell in the pic but I darkened the silver on the trim piece a bit to give it some transition to the black. I masked off the areas of the foglight covers I wanted to remain black and painted the other areas silver to try and give them a C7ish look. I found some universal RS type mesh that was a damn close match which I have also painted and will be fitting in the opening as you can see. I bought two big sheets since I KNOW I'll mess up along the way. This will be the toughest part of everything. I'm not quite done yet. I'll report back how it goes. I'm waiting on aftermarket fog lamps from China versus OEM ones. Why? Because I plan to run 55w HIDs in them. If the extra heat melts them I wont feel as bad. I'll know what changes need to be made ahead for the replacements.

Facelift Update
Been Busy with work but I got started on the rear today.
I discovered my bumper strap has been broken all this time so I've ordered a new one. Off to get some paint till delivery. The old S-Line Valence came off relatively easy with a set of plastic prying tools and some effort. Fit and finish of this aftermarket piece isn't bad it did need a little bit of further body filler to make me satisfied but I can be real particular. So far I'm pleased.
