Bought my 07 S line Avant with 95k on it 4 years ago and now have 135k. All I have done is fuel filter, 3rd brake light and standard maint tires and brakes. I knew the previous owner and he always did 5k oil changes and there is no chain noise at all.
The car is our long trip car. Just replaced the stock sport shocks with Bilstein B6 HD and front and rear and the car drives fantastic. Upper control arms inner bushings were needed too so did that all in one go.
I know a guy who has one with 225k and he just had tensioners done and did a trans too he wants to keep the car forever. I can't imagine getting this much enjoyments out of an SUV. Plus I get 26-27 mpg with a full car on the HWY... way better than my A4 2.0Timebomb
Also have B6A4 and B8S4 this car is one of my all time favs.

I have 168,682 miles on my 2005 3.2. I'll die before I get rid of this car. I'm a mechanic at a European import shop so I have meticulously maintained my A6. I love this car. I put on around 150 miles a day. But I plan ahead. I have a spare 3.2 in my garage that I'm rebuilding and whenever I see an A6 that is being parted out on Facebook I pick up what ever parts I can. I recently swapped my black interior for a two-tone black and brown from a 2009 A6. I also added rear privacy shades and a power rear blind from a 2006. My list of repairs and modifications is quite extensive. The previous owner was not very meticulous in his repairs so I've has to fix a lot of mistakes. But totally worth it in my opinion.

Mine (2007 3.2FSI) is around 115k miles now. I guess that counts as a low mileage in the context of this thread.
I’ve owned it two and a half years and have no plans to sell it anytime soon.

Well, my Avant is currently at 121,000 miles (195,000kms) and with a transmission oil change and a timing chain in the near future I guess we'll see but if both of those go well, she should be home for another 200,000kms.

Raj,
I just hit 214k miles too with my '06 3.2.
The engine runs great. It just leaks/consumes too much 0w40 castrol.
The rest of the car is doing prefect.
