Voice Command Button Stopped Working (Worked Previously)
I'm not sure if this is a VAG-COM issue or what.
2006 A6 Avant w/ MMI High
Voice Command Button was working last week without issues. Now it no longer works. Only recent changes are that I activated the window convenience feature on my A6 and removed the seatbelt chime (VAG Modules 17-Instruments and 46-Comfort System). Today when driving I received a call via bluetooth; however the caller could not hear me at all. After the call I pressed the voice command button on the steering wheel and saw the message "Button Inactive". The button was working last week.
I searched and only item I found was the following:
https://forums.audiworld.com/a5/msgs/15745.phtml
Module 77-Telephone did show code 0010900 (original code I believe) and I updated the code to 0010970, English (USA) but this has not corrected the issue.
I also checked the following:
47-Sound System (Bose)
0000x?x: Microphone
? = 2 = Microphone (Voice Control)
77-Telephone (Adaptation)
Channel 133
1 = Bluetooth ON
Anyone have any other ideas or thoughts.
MMI Version 33.6.0 (could be updated but like I said everything was working before without issue)

I had the same issue after changing one of the setting with VAG-COM, but don't remember the exact code. I also lost voice command button and the bluetooth caller would not hear my voice. I would bet on window convenience feature, because I also did seabelt chime and my voice and bluetooth is working. Good Luck.
I'm not sure if this is a VAG-COM issue or what.

Thanks for the link man. My button was "inactive" this all entire time but I changed the code, restarted the car 4,5 times, and the voice control now fully works. Took some restart though. May be that's your issue as well?

I have a 2005 C6 4.2 and had issues that started with the voice commands then my radio started restarting by itself. It turned out being the control module at $1500. hope thats not your issue

well I fixed it today myself...
found a TSB and used the info and followed it on the VAG COM and had full success.
here is a copy of the TSB for anyone else that experiences this problem.
