Hello! I have an audi a6 c6 2006 Sedan , my car battery is dead and the trunk wont open i need to have accses to the battery to change it , i tried with a jump start from the hood still it wont work when i try the cables became soft and hot soo far in 2/3 seconds idk why , the seats are unfolded aswell i tried to open the trunk with a key still it wont work is stuck , how can i get a solution for this ? Is there any trunk emergency release wire ? And please where is located because i cant find it as i said the seats are unfolded so i cant have accses to the trunk , thank you

@Redi363 here you go...It's pretty easy to get to the battery even when it's dead, just have to get access via the rear seats and pull the release:

Odd that the key does not work, I did have an A6 that the key would work on the trunk but not the driver door. Turned out it just needed a bit of WD40 to loosen the tumblers.
