I hope to do my rear breaks on my 2007 3.2 this weekend and have two quick questions.

1) The charger gets hooked up to the posts under the hood so I have correct system voltage.

2) after retracting the parking brake with vag com can I push piston back with c clamp, or use the screwdriver method in video(at end of 55k service thread). If using a c clamp is there a danger in damaging the emergency brake.

When I did our brakes, I just left the car running.

The pistons did not fully retract with VAG-COM, so I gently squeezed them back in with channel locks.
