Default Problems after pad change in 07 A6 3.2

Just changed the pads on my A6 and now when I turn left it makes like a humming noise and you can feel vibration. Any thoughts?

hmm.. were the clips holding the pads tight? could it be possible that the pad has come off from the caliper?

I just took the car out and it brakes fine. I made one really sharp left and I could feel some vibration in the gas peadel. Only could make it happen once. Wife was the one saying it was doing it all the time. Like I said I tried it and it made a vibration in the gas pedal once

I drove it again this morning and every now and then I still get the vibration in the gas pedal. This time it was while I was going straight and not in the corner. Like I mentioned it does not happen all the time just here and there

Default Did you only change the pads?

Did you also change the rotors or at least resurface them?

Otherwise it is likely it is the pads vibrating from the ridge on the rotor left behind from the old pads. The A6 brakes may be more prone to this than others. My stock brakes had a similar problem after about 20k miles. Only going slow and turning hard...i.e. parking. The ridge around the rotor was so high the pads would catch on it and make a noise...going straight the pads managed to ride in the ridge and were fine.

I think that is issue. Hopefully pads wear down and it stops. There is a ridge
