Yeah, because walking into the dealer and paying $22 for a new set is just too time consuming!!

Damn! I really like the looks of that one. The rear spoiler adds just a nice visual touch.

Those rims are sweet too.... size/make?

I kinda like the Debadge... seems stealthy to me...

Ah... it can be put back on if it looks poor? (i.e. I hack the job?)

The idea is typically to create a sleeper. With a debadge, some guy pulls up in a Boxter and decides he's going to get in front of you only for him to be embarrassed. With the base engine, it looks to me like someone wants people to think they might have a crazy powerful engine when they don't. I don't know that this is true in this case, but for what it's worth, it's what I typically think. Maybe you can change my mind about this sort of thing.
Thanks for your opinion and I respect it. I have 3.2 and am proud of it. I debadge because I think it makes my car look better. took the 4matic off our mercedes too, though my parents were upset when they found out. I guess if I tinted my windows that would mean I am trying to be extra tough. lol.

The sleeper idea makes sense too and its kind of like a debadging the Porsche SUV the base engines are very slow, but the turbo's are fast and they all look the same.

Blacked out with film. I don't use the rear fog lights anyway. For the back-up lights I've made a cut. I think it works because the car is black. I cant take it out if I want but for now it's ok.

I have to admit, these vehicles do look very nice. I think the spoiler is a nice add-on without the badges. I don't have a spoiler on my A6, but I do have one on my Acura, and I like each as they are currently.

I see you've gone the Caractere route for the rear diffuser and tips too. Nice.
