Default S6 LED / brake light stuck on ?

Does anyone else's S6 (or A6) LED (or parking lamp) stay on if you have your turn signal on when you turn the car off? Depending on which turn signal is activated when I turn the motor off, that corresponding LED (and rear lamp) stay on but on a real dim setting. It reminds me of the European style parking lamps that stay on when you parallel park on the street. I looked in the manual (yes, it's the first time to crack it open) and I didn't see any reference to this phenomena.

Ideas/help?

Thanks in advance!

I had the same thing happen to me about 2 or 3 times. But it's hard to mention to the dealer when you not able to replicate the problem all the time.

Its the parking lamp feature, or whatever its called. It keeps that side of the car lit up untill you start it up again. It has been used in MB cars since the 70s. They installed this on cars so that if you parked the car on the side of a dark street you can have the side of the car that is closest to the road lit up so as to not get hit by a passing car.

That's what I thought. That clears it up. Is that on all Audi's or just select ones? Also, about how much juice do you think it draws to keep those lights on (albeit dimmed)?

Sadly I didn't try it when I had my B7 A4, but given that the LEDs draw so little current it shouldn't cause any issue at all with keeping them like that all night.
