Hi all,

I have an 07 4.2. Living in Mass where we get a decent amount of snow. I know when the ESP is on, the car cuts power when wheel spin occurs. This was the same on my older 03 2.7t. However, on the 03, if i pressed the button, the wheels would spin free. I noticed that the 07 continues to cut power with wheel spin when the ESP is off.

and the dumb question: is there a way to make the 07 like the 03?

Continue to hold the esp button down for a few seconds until the dash board lights up that ASR is also off.
