Goodbye bubbling MMI trim ring.
This was a real eyesore on the console.
So I ordered one of these ($46.50 + S/H, genuineaudiparts.com)
Much better!
I still can't believe I spent $50 on a thin piece of plastic, but it somehow seems worth it.

A gentleman that was looking at the Jaguar we have for sale last weekend, told me a story about a car he had where his son had used armor-all on the trim and it reportedly bubbled up. Maybe that is what happened…or something similar.
