Tuesday 9AM - Turned car on Check engine light came on. Drove it 4 miles. Went home and I reset the codes. - P0011 - 004 - Retard Setpoint not Reached (Over-Advanced) - MIL ON

Tuesday 4PM - Drove 4 miles no Error or codes.

Wednesday 9AM - Check engine back at first start.
Wednesday 3PM - Reset code. Let me chanic know and was asked to check oil level. Was at 2/3rds so I added a bit. Reset the codes

Thursday 9AM - Check engine was back and idle was very rough at first. 2 errors. Drove it 4 miles with check engine light and on highway and everything seems normal.
Bank 1: CMP Sensor (G40) / Engine Speed Sensor (G28)
P0016 - 001 - Incorrect Correlation - Intermittent - MIL ON

Camshaft Positioner (Bank 1 Intake)
P000A - 008 - Slow Response - MIL ON

Thursday 9:30AM reset codes. Then I got the stuff below.


Any ideas? Im thinking timing chain tensioner. Is it possible its a carbon build up issue? It was cleaned a couple of years ago at 25k mile at dealer. That generated the CEL light to come on and had a loss of power.

I would suggest pulling the cam sensor that is complaining and see if there is sludge on it. Had a similar issue with my 2010 3.0T. Swapped on a fresh cam sensor and she's been happy since.
