Default My car has water entering into the driver's foot area

Hello everyone. My car has water entering into the driver's foot area. I checked drains and cleaned them. And water keeps coming in that it's raining.
I googled a bit about the problem and saw that water can also enter through the fuse box that is next to the wipers.
I checked the box and saw that its lid was broken and a screw was missing and it was not closed properly.
Did I find the problem? I will fix the lid and close it well.
Are there other places worth checking out?

It sure sounds like you found the likely cause. How large was the gap(s) from the cover not being on correctly?

The drains will fail over time. They shrink, get brittle, etc. I just replaced both sides on my 2005 A6.

Did you buy actual Audi hoses, or can you find just generic hose (i.e. hardware stores) to replace it?

I purchased the OEM parts. My kid has the A6 at the beach surfing right now. I can message you the part numbers later if you need them.
