MMI Upgrade - Surround Sound TSB - Audi of Nashua
I saw some old posts of NorthEastA6 and NH_AR having difficulty getting this update done at Audi of Nashua. Any Luck since? I will be in for my 15k service and am wondering how hard I'll have to push to get the upgrade.
Also when I reply to a post that thread seems to stay in the same spot on the board not moving to the top. Am I missing a setting or doing something wrong.
Thanks,
Grey Ghost

I have not specifically asked for the TSB since I was not aware of it at my last service visit...
I did mention the surround sound problem and they responded like they'd never heard of it before.
Regarding tracking threads, go into preferences (just above the message box). There is a setting that enables tracking.
Good luck and keep us posted on your software update.

I was able to get the MMI updated by providing the service writer with
the TSB number and description that it was for the DSP Surround Sound reseting to the normal repeatedly at random intervals. It is TSB Number 910625 released on November 1, 2006 (see link below). As pierreb and I have indicated in the past AoA will only do it to correct the DSP issue. BTW everythig is working great!

http://www.alldata.com/tsb/Audi/1162368000000_1164096000000_910625/index.html</a

Current MMI version is 3360, the one the dealers seem to have is 2740.
The 2740 already fixes most of the known problems, while the 3360 is more a maintenance update. Please check your versions - would be interesting to see what you guys (with problems) are currently having.

http://theresias.com/temp/IMG_2499.jpg</a
